A New Image for the Sanajiit Project
With the 2017 construction season just around the corner, the Kativik Regional Government’s (KRG) Sanajiit Project has revamped its image with a brand new logo.

Kuujjuaq, Québec, April 4, 2017 - In the evening of Saturday, April 1st a 12-year-old girl was accidently struck to the head by a puck while watching a hockey game at the local municipal arena of Salluit, Nunavik. Following the incident, the girl received medical attention.
On Sunday morning, her death was determined at the Salluit nursing dispensary. An autopsy is being performed in Montreal at the coroner’s request and the Kativik Regional Police Force and the Sûreté du Québec are jointly investigating the case.

A new initiative for the JBNQA Beneficiaries
Kuujjuaq, Québec, March 27, 2017 – The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) and Nunavik Parks are pleased to announce the new Nunavik Parks Beneficiary Access Initiative (NPBAI) established to encourage and facilitate access by beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) to the different national parks in Nunavik.
