Environment

The Department acts as a liaison between the ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs (sustainable development, environment and parks) and the communities on environmental issues and provides technical assistance regarding waste management, wastewater treatment, environmental emergencies and inspections, as well as drinking water regulations in cooperation with the KRG Municipal Public Works Department.
