General Information
The Administration Department is responsible for providing support and a variety of services to all of the KRG’s other departments, as well as to the organization’s Council and Executive Committee. The Department’s activities are divided into five sections:
- Tamaani Nunavik Wireless Internet.
- Information technology.
- Building maintenance and asset management.
- Procurement and travel arrangements.
- Communications.
Funding for the Department is drawn from administration fees charged by the KRG under various agreements it has with both levels of government, including the Agreement concerning Block Funding for the Kativik Regional Government (Sivunirmut Agreement).
