The office of the Director General ensures that the activities, programs and services of the KRG are consistent with the orientations set by the Council and the Executive Committee. The office is composed of the Director General and two Assistant Director Generals.

Isabelle Parizeau directly oversees the activities of the Sustainable Employment Department, the Legal, Socio-Judicial and Municipal Management Department, the Renewable Resources, Environment, Lands and Parks Department, the Public Security Department, and the Regional and Local Development Department.

Joë Lance directly oversees the activities of the Administration Department, Finance, Treasury and Human Resources Department, the Municipal Public Works Department, the Recreation Department and the Transportation Department.
