Information Technology
The Information Technology Section provides services to well over 300 employee-users, maintains over 15 servers, and ensures the smooth operation of over 400 networking devices located in all the communities. KRG mail servers handle over 1500 messages daily and an anti-spamming system filters over 5000 e-mails every day. Furthermore, the KRG network, its servers and its devices are all protected by firewalls and anti-virus systems that are updated regularly. A back-up system is also in place and a disaster recovery plan is kept up-to-date.
