Youth Employment Services Nunavik

The goal of the Youth Employment Services (YES) Nunavik is to support the successful integration of youth into the region’s labour market. To this end, YES Nunavik delivers a variety of services, disseminates pertinent information and provides referrals to useful resources.

YES Nunavik has in particular targeted the following objectives:

• To offer employment services, information and referrals for youth.
• To deliver alternative employment services and projects grounded in the reality of each community, as well as encouraging youth to stay in or return to school, as well as acquire entrepreneurial values.
• To facilitate participation in different youth programs.

YES Nunavik offers its services to youth aged between 16 and 35 in the 14 communities of Nunavik. It has a regional office in Kuujjuaq and will soon have local offices in Inukjuak, Puvirnituq and Salluit.
